All joking about size aside, it does matter. The S&S 143 Long Block engine for 2008-later Harley Davison touring models is the largest S&S engine that will fit in a stock Harley Davidson chassis. It’s big, 143 cubic inches. Nuff said.
At double the HP of a stock motor the power of the 143 requires technical expertise for the installation and tuning along with an experienced rider. This is an ultra performance/race engine. Longevity, engine noise, vibration and throttle sensitivity have all been compromised to reach this level of performance while fitting in a stock chassis and as such is not suitable for every situation. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to consider the suitability for their application. Engine noise and damage from abuse is not covered under warranty.

The S&S Cycle T111, T124 and T124LC Long Block Engines will bolt directly into your stock touring chassis with no modifications.

S&S Cycle knows that a lot of riders have already invested in performance upgrades for their stock engine by the time they are ready to move up to a complete big inch Harley replacement engine. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to save some money by using some of those items on your new S&S Harley Replacement engine? Well now you can!
S&S Cycle is offering T-Series Harley Replacement engines for 1999-’06 big twins without fuel or ignition systems. The S&S Cycle T111, T124 and T124LC Long Block Harley replacement engines will bolt directly into your stock touring chassis with no modifications and if you have already added a performance carburetor or an EFI throttle body and tuner to your stock engine, you can use it on your new engine. A carb or throttle body that fits a stock engine will fit the new S&S Harley Replacement engine because the heads are specially machined to compensate for the increased cylinder length so a stock length manifold will fit. If you’ve installed a performance ignition or EFI tuner, you can possibly use it too.
The T111 Harley replacement engine is the ultimate sport touring engine, while the T124 Harley replacement engine is just what you need for a hot rod bagger. The T111 Harley replacement engine has a 4.125 bore and a 4.125 stroke for a true square engine making it the smoothest Harley replacement engine available. S&S Cycle is also introducing the T124LC Harley replacement engine is a slightly lower compression version of the T124 with S&S Cycle 640 Easy Start gear drive cams that is ideally suited for heavier bikes and trikes, plus it’s more tolerant of variations in fuel quality.
S&S Cycle offers the T111 and T124 Harley replacement engine to replace the stock carbureted engines from 1999-’06 or fuel injected 2002-2006 engines. S&S Cycle T111 and T124 Harley replacement engines are available in silver powder coat, wrinkle black powder coat, and polished finishes. Match the original engine in your bike or go for a custom look.
S&S Cycle T111 and T124 engines are designed to replace the existing Harley Twin Cam 88 engine in a stock chassis, making it easy to get the performance you want from your late model motorcycle. Take the stock engine out and put an S&S Harley replacement engine in. It’s that simple.
Due to the changes in S&S Cycle crankcase design, installation of an S&S Cycle T111 and T124 Harley replacement engine in 1999-2005 Dyna models require oil line installation kit #31-0424. For installation in 2000-2006 FLT models oil line installation kit #31-0425 is required.
Call DC V-Twin today to learn more about making your bike the best it can be with one of the new S&S Cycle Harley replacement engines. Whether you go with the T111 for cruising cross country and around town or you choose the T124 for ripping up the asphalt with maximum power S&S Cycle and DC V-Twin has you covered. Phone DC V-TWIN at 478-988-4313
S & S is also introducing the T124LC engine, which has slightly lower compression and a shorter duration cam set. Lower compression makes the T124LC more resistant to knock and detonation, and promotes better engine life and dependability.

DC V-Twin is now offering S&S Cycle B2 heads on several S&S Harley replacement engines including the popular 126. No one person has sold as many custom S&S Cycle B2 head engines than DC V-TWIN’s own Derek Churchwell. Churchwell has built some of the most powerful street and strip engines using the S&S Cycle B2 head. This is why S&S Cycle B2 heads are the hottest ticket for adding even more horsepower to the already powerful S&S Cycle Evo and Twin Cam Harley replacement engines. These racing style heads come with a 2.200 intake valve and a 1.800 exhaust valve.
The S&S Cycle B2 heads are standard issue on the Twin Cam 126 engines, but are available for any engine with a 4.125 or larger bore. You can even put them on stock Harley engines that have been modified to the larger bore. S&S Cycle B2 heads are also available with different head bolt patterns for other Harley replacement engines.
The S&S Cycle B2 heads are CNC ported directly from S&S Cycle. S&S Cycle B2 head Twin Cam Harley replacement engines come with special pistons that have a dome shape which complements the combustion chamber of the S&S Cycle B2 head. This enhances flow for better flame travel and a more efficient combustion process. The addition of these S&S Cycle B2 heads will maximize the performance of any of the Harley replacements engines above.
When upgrading your Harley engine ask about the S&S Cycle B2 head options for your motorcycle. Whether you want the fastest street bike in your town or if you plan on taking your bike to the drag strip, the S&S Cycle B2 head Twin cam Harley replacement engine is the choice. Upgrade your engine to the S&S Cycle B2 heads. You will be glad you did.
Call DC V-Twin today to learn more about making your bike the best it can be with one of the new S&S Cycle Harley replacement engines with B2 heads. No matter if you choose the popular 126 Twin Cam engine or build a custom engine, it will rip the asphalt up with the addition of S&S Cycle’s B2 heads. If you need more horsepower, S&S Cycle and DC V-Twin has you covered. Phone DC V-TWIN at 478-988-4313
As with any good engine, someone some where is trying to make it faster. That’s what the guys at dc v-twin have done. We can take any 4 1/8th bore engine and make it faster by installing b2 heads and going one step above and beyond by custom porting the b2 head. B2 heads come with 2.200 intake valves and 1.800 exhuast valves. The valve sizes in the b2 heads are considerably larger than those in the super stock heads from s&s and especially the stock heads from harley davidson.
The b2 heads are also know as the big fin heads from the guys at s&s cycle. Not only does dc v-twin perform custom cylinder head porting on the b2 heads, they also reshape the chamber. The chamber gets bored to a different angle to allow for better blame travel and to also help in gaining that last little bit of compression.
Make no bones about it, the b2 heads will pick up about ten horsepower with a quick install or you can go the extra mile and have the heads ported and the chambers reworked for maximum horsepower at dc v-twin. This is the only way to truly get the most from your bike in a naturally aspirated format.
Next time you get your butt handed to you on the street in a red light to red light drag race match, just consider the making the move to the custom ported b2 heads from dc v-twin. Give dc v-twin a call for more information on the b2 or to place a custom order. Its as easy as a phone call away. Do it today at 478-988-4313
Want to replace your worn out Harley-Davidson Evolution engine without breaking the bank? Look no further than DC V-Twins wide selection of S&S Cycle Harley Replacement engines. At DC V-Twin they have several Evolution Harley replacement engines. These replacement engines fit 1984-1999 big twin chassis which came with Evolution style engine mounts.
The V96 cubic inch engine is the first of four engines for your Harley. It’s been a staple in the long line of S&S Cycle Harley replacement engines. Most of your custom bike builders installed the V96 cubic inch engine in their frames as an engine that is great for daily driving or touring. The V96 inch Evolution Harley replacement engine delivers exceptionally smooth power and incredible reliability for a 3 5/8 bore engine that can’t be beat.
The next engine in the S&S Cycle line up is the V111 Evolution Harley replacement engine. This is a favorite at DC V-Twin with its short 4 1/8 inch stroke and 4 1/8 inch bore making it a true square Harley replacement engine. With equal bore and stroke, the V111 engine is the smoothest riding engine on the market. This combination also gives you the best throttle response as it likes to rev up really fast. Horsepower numbers are comparable to its big brother the V124. Pick the V111 as your Harley replacement engine and you will be glad you did.
S&S Cycle also offers a V113 available from DC V-Twin. The V113 is a 10 to 1 compression engine that is available in several color combinations like the V96”, V111”, and V124. The V113 delivers excellent torque as a Harley replacement engine and makes heads turn when pulling off from a red light. Give the S&S Cycle V113 look next time you are looking for a Harley replacement engine.
Finally the biggest and most powerful Evolution engine from S&S Cycle is the V124. The V124 Harley replacement engine has a 4 1/8 inch bore and a 4 5/8 inch stroke. These engines for your Harley make over 130 horsepower and 130 foot pounds of torque, which is more than enough to make riding two up a breeze. When you twist the throttle on the V124 you will feel the horsepower difference, and this makes life a lot easier when trying to pass in traffic. The SH103 is the largest production engine that S&S and Flathead Power™ offer for shovels. This engine features forged pistons with a compression ratio of 9.7:1, a Super G carb, and dual plugged heads. Unlike the SH93 and SH93H, the SH103 engine will not fit in a stock frame without modifications because the overall height of the engine is .300 inches taller than stock. This engine is recommended for high performance applications. This engine is not for everyone!
SH93 engines feature forged pistons with a moderate compression ratio of 8.5:1 and a Super E carb. The SH93 is a good choice for daily riders, and is great for touring applications.
SH93H engines are an excellent choice to replace a tired shovelhead engine, and boost performance at the same time. Modern features such as late style hydraulic valve train, polished billet rocker covers, forged roller rocker arms, and a single fire electronic ignition, combined with larger displacement, add up to a powerful and dependable engine package.

In the fall of 2007, S&S introduced an engine with a retro look, but with updated technology. The pan head engine has been hailed as the coolest looking classic engine of all time, and the Flathead Power™ P-Series engines from S&S captures that retro styling from the 50's and 60's with 21st century engineering. Keep in mind that as cool as these motors look, they are not reproductions. These engines were built to run!

The KN-Series engines are very close in appearance to a stock knucklehead engine, but offer a number of modern features for more power, better engine life, and improved reliability. Aside from the much larger 93 inch displacement, the main improvement in design is the 1958-1965 style flywheel assembly, which uses a splined sprocket shaft and Timken® sprocket shaft bearing. Although this necessitates the use of a 1955-1964 style inner tin primary cover and primary chain sprocket, the increased flywheel stability, strength, and power handling capacity are worth a slight departure from stock.
Rocker arm cover tins are another modern improvement. The lower covers are actually made of die-cast aluminum, and instead of being held in place by the valve guide, they are held down by valve spring pressure. A special gasket and o-ring seal on the bottom of the lower tin provides a positive seal, and is much easier to service if needed, since the valve guides do not have to be pressed out in order to remove the lower covers.
Instead of the steel brazed-in hard oil return lines used on stock tins, S&S has improved the design of the oil line for better reliability and easier assembly and maintenance.
The initial KN93 offering is a standard compression 93 inch engine with authentic generator style crankcases for 1936-1947 Harley-Davidson® OHV big twin chassis.
KN-Series engines come completely assembled and ready to run with a preset S&S Super Stock™ electronic ignition system and Super E carburetor. KN-Series engines come with a 12 month warranty.
Alternator/generator style KN-Series engines are very close in appearance to a stock knucklehead engine, but offer a number of modern features for more power, better engine life, and improved reliability.

S&S Vintage rocker arm cover tins are another modern improvement.
The KN93 is a standard compression 93 engine and is available with authentic generator style crankcases for early style chassis, primary and transmissions, and with alternator/generator style cases for use with 1970 and later primary covers and late style transmissions.
